Redcurrant Jam

I had great fun making this jam, painting this jam and eating this jam! I have only a single bush but I made eight or so jars of jam after the children picked and ate the currants. The colour is amazing.

July Showers

My two boys on school holidays did a lot of indoor lurking due to the showery july weather, but Aisling in defiance of the weather takes her buggy out for a stroll in the rain.

Anticipating Spring

The real outdoors daffodils are just starting to open this week but I got some of the commercial forced spring flowers to paint. I experimented with an acrylic underpainting here to get things going.Daffodils and Irises

A little snow

There is not a lot of snow in this part of the country so its quite special and exciting when we get a snowfall however little it may be. A heavy snowfall here is 4 inches and many winters we get no snow at all. The kids have to be quick to build snowmen because the few centimetres of snow is generally gone before midday.A Light Morning Snow

The technical issues have been solved. The galleries have been fully viewable for a few weeks but there was problems with blog updates.
